Dámske silonky a pančuchy sa skratkou DEN sa označovala jemnosť a hmotnosť hodvábu, z ktorého sa moderný a módny pančuchový tovar vyrábal. Ten sa síce už vyrába zo silonového vlákna, ale skratka sa uchytila a používa sa dodnes. Znamená to, že kolko je gramov vlákna na dĺžku 1000 metrov.
